Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Entry-level networking experience; familiarity with networking devices.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or JNCIA are beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Supporting accurate network configurations aligned with best practices.
• Collaborating with the network team to monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Helping identify and address network-related issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Responding to and assisting in resolving network incidents and problems.
• Supporting troubleshooting of connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and other network challenges.
• Creating and updating technical documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaborating with the security team to implement network security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Assisting in planning and implementing network upgrades and improvements.
• Collaborating with senior engineers to deploy patches, updates, and new technologies.
• Working closely with other IT teams including systems administrators, application developers, and support teams to provide integrated solutions.
• Coordinating with vendors for hardware and software procurement, support, and troubleshooting.
• Engaging in continuous learning to expand technical skills and knowledge in networking.
• Participating in network-related projects such as expansions, migrations, and implementations.
• Performing any other related tasks as required.

About You

• Familiarity with network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.

• Entry-level experience in a networking environment, preferably within a global IT organization.
• Basic experience with network security.
• Entry-level WAN and LAN experience.
• Entry-level experience in wireless equipment, protocols, standards, and wireless LAN design.
• Basic knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
