Job summary

SolarWinds is seeking a Contract Billing Specialist to manage sophisticated Year 2/Year 3 subscription billing activities. You will work independently with Sales, Renewals, Finance, and Order Management to identify risks, resolve billing challenges, and improve operational efficiency while protecting revenue.

The role requires a strong SaaS billing background, CRM proficiency (Salesforce), and the ability to guide internal teams on billing readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Order Management, Billing Operations, Sales Operations, Renewals Operations, Contract Administration, or Revenue Operations.
• Strong understanding of SaaS, subscription billing, and recurring revenue models.
• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Experience managing complex customer accounts and contract structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and proactively engage with a portfolio of complex Year 2 and Year 3 subscription billing accounts.
• Resolve escalated customer billing inquiries and contract-related concerns, ensuring timely closure of billing readiness activities.
• Review and validate subscription contracts, pricing structures, billing schedules, and entitlement information.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve contract, pricing, or system-related issues with minimal supervision.
• Analyze billing readiness pipeline to identify operational and revenue risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and billing controls.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, providing guidance on billing processes and customer readiness requirements.
• Support onboarding and knowledge-sharing activities for new team members.
