Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in research or compliance processes, data analysis, reporting and strong logical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Learn tools, technologies & EY databases to perform validations that support compliance monitoring.
• Perform compliance monitoring, conduct research using systematic & intuitive secondary research tools.
• Study the findings, draw inferences, and respond to the research requirements.
• Ensure timely transmittal of review outcomes to stakeholders and PPEDs.
• Use analytical and project management methods to deliver on core KPIs.
• Complete assigned projects in line with SOPs and timelines, and identify efficiency improvements.
• Deliver ad hoc process activities and manage deadlines to prevent escalations.
• Take ownership of deadlines and ensure high-quality, timely delivery.

We work closely with all parts of the organization to identify and manage risks, providing coordinated advice and assistance on suite of services like Independence, Conflicts, Compliance, regulatory, policy and security issues as well as dealing with claims and queries regarding ethics. Formed in 2007, the RMS team is growing rapidly as a Center of Excellence for all standardized quality/compliance related activities.

The opportunity

Global Compliance Engagement Testing (GCET) supports the Global Risk Management in conducting compliance testing across Service Lines. GCET program is an internal EY review process which includes selecting engagements of the PPEDs to test them on Legal & Regulatory compliances & internal EY policy compliances and providing feedback & ratings to the PPEDs basis the outcome of their review. The team also provides analytical reports consisting of outcome of compliance testing to Global, Area and Region stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in contributing to strengthening of compliance framework of the firm. Accordingly, we are looking for an Associate Analyst who shall be responsible for timely execution of compliance testing processes including conducting research and analysis to identify any potential non-compliance with policy/guidance or any potential regulatory breaches. The person shall also be required to assist in other process related requirements.

Your key responsibilities

Technical Expertise

• Learn tools, technologies & EY databases to perform validations that support compliance monitoring
• Perform compliance monitoring, conduct research using systematic & intuitive secondary research tools
• Study the research findings, draw inferences, and conclude reviews in response to the research requirement

• Ensure timely transmittal of review outcome to the PPEDs
• Use analytical and project management methodology and tools to deliver on core KPIs
• Complete all assigned projects in line with the standard operating procedures and stipulated timelines
• Proactively identify and lead initiatives that improve process efficiency
• Deliver ad hoc process activities assigned periodically
• Take ownership of process deadlines and initiate steps that prevent client escalations through timely, high-quality delivery

• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain information in a clear, concise and structured manner

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 1 to 2 years of experience in research or compliance processes, data analysis, reporting and strong logical reasoning skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Knowledge on risk management attributes
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with data
