Job summary

IQ-EQ Philippines seeks a senior technical accounting expert to act as the team’s authority on complex fund accounting services, overseeing final reviews and ensuring compliance with standards.

You will lead technical decisions, develop best practices, train staff, and provide guidance on client portfolios. Hybrid work while delivering high-quality outputs. With 6+ years in fund accounting/audit, you will shape process improvements and stakeholder support.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience (at least 4 in fund accounting, financial reporting, or audit).
• Subject matter expert in technical accounting, with strong knowledge of standards, regulations and final review of complex financial reports.
• Proficient in advanced accounting systems and in developing/reviewing SOPs, methodologies, and compliance processes.
• Strong leadership capabilities, including workload planning, coaching team members, and driving technical development.

THIS ROLE

You'll be the primary technical expert responsible for ensuring excellence in complex fund accounting services through expertise and final review authority. You'll serve as the ultimate subject matter expert for the team on complex accounting matters, leading technical decisions and process innovations while providing authoritative guidance on sophisticated client portfolios and advanced accounting modules.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• You’ll serve as the team’s technical authority, supporting complex accounting matters and ensuring high-quality outputs.
• You’ll perform final reviews of sophisticated accounting deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• You’ll drive technical excellence and innovation, while establishing best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• You’ll ensure adherence to accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• You’ll provide technical guidance, training, and stakeholder support, acting as the primary expert for client-specific and fund segment matters.

ABOUT YOU
