Global Payments Inc. is seeking an Assistant Accountant III to join our Accounting Team and help shape the future of global commerce.

You will own month-end close activities, perform reconciliations, and deliver accurate financial reporting across multiple entities, partnering with stakeholders to improve data quality and support informed business decisions. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 4 years of full-cycle accounting experience, strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a minimum of 4 years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close activities with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies, evaluate financial data and deliver timely resolutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive accurate and timely financial reporting by managing key accounting activities across multiple entities.
• Strengthen financial transparency through detailed reconciliations, variance analysis and proactive resolution of discrepancies.
• Ensure month-end close activities are completed efficiently and accurately to meet reporting deadlines.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to improve data quality and support informed business decisions.
• Contribute to audit readiness and control effectiveness by maintaining accurate documentation and supporting a strong financial governance framework.
