Job summary

Global Payments Philippines is seeking an Assistant Accountant (Mandarin Speaking) to join our accounting team. You will manage high-volume accounts payable for China and Taiwan entities, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.

You will review invoices in Ariba and Oracle, assist month-end close, and audit employee expense reports. Strong Mandarin and English communication, plus 2+ years in accounting, are required. This role offers exposure to multinational operations.

Qualifications

• Mandarin reading, writing and speaking skills required.
• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable college or university.
• At least 2 years in accounts payable, general accounting, or audit.
• Experience with accounting software; proficient in MS Excel.
• Fluent in English for written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Process and review high-volume accounts payable transactions for China and Taiwan entities, ensuring accuracy, validity, and policy compliance.
• Review, analyze, and enter invoices, accruals, and expenses in Ariba and Oracle; identify exceptions and policy non-compliance.
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reports aligned with consolidation calendars.
• Audit employee expense reports, enforce travel and expense policies, and ensure timely reimbursements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain audit-ready documentation.
