Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Trading Services Associate in Manila to support accurate, timely trade processing across the lifecycle. You will perform daily reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and help ensure trades move through confirmation and settlement with appropriate controls.

You will collaborate with US-based trading partners and internal teams to resolve inquiries and reduce operational risk, contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field is required.
• 5 years of experience in trade operations, trade support, settlements, or related function.
• Experience using trade capture, confirmation, and settlement platforms and/or reconciliation tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations of trades, positions, and cash balances.
• Investigate breaks and discrepancies, document findings, and drive timely resolution.
• Support accurate and timely trade processing, confirmation, and settlement activities.
• Monitor trade flows and follow up on exceptions through to closure.
• Escalate operational risks and issues to appropriate stakeholders.
• Partner with technology teams to support enhancements and issue resolution for trade processing tools.

Job summary

You will perform daily reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and help ensure trades move through confirmation and settlement with appropriate controls. You will collaborate with United States-based trading partners and internal teams to resolve inquiries and reduce operational risk. You will also contribute to process improvements that strengthen efficiency and quality.

Job responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations of trades, positions, and cash balances to help ensure accuracy and completeness
• Investigate breaks and discrepancies, document findings, and drive timely resolution
• Support accurate and timely trade processing, confirmation, and settlement activities
• Monitor trade flows and follow up on exceptions through to closure
• Maintain operational controls and complete required checks in line with procedures
• Escalate operational risks, issues, and time-sensitive breaks to appropriate stakeholders
• Partner with technology teams to support enhancements and issue resolution for trade processing tools
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve trade-related inquiries
• Support trading and compliance partners with operational information, status updates, and follow-ups
• Contribute to process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce recurring breaks

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in trade operations, trade support, settlements, or a related financial services function
• Experience using trade capture, confirmation, and settlement platforms and/or reconciliation tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal formats
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners (for example, trading, compliance, operations, and technology)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience supporting trade operations for equities and exchange-traded funds (ETFs)
• Experience using SQL and/or Python for automation, reporting, or data management
• Knowledge of financial markets and the end-to-end trade lifecycle
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills to identify root causes and propose practical solutions
• Experience managing stakeholders globally across time zones and cultures, including negotiation and clear, professional communication
• Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes
