Job summary

TE Connectivity in Batangas, Philippines is seeking a Production/ Machine Operator to run automated and manual machines, hit line targets, and ensure quality. The role involves setting up, troubleshooting minor issues, reading technical drawings, and maintaining 5S+1 and TPM practices.

The candidate should have 1+ years of manufacturing experience, and either an Associate degree or a high school diploma, with knowledge of machine operation and quality standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Achieve the set line target.

Job description

The position is to run production on Automated / Manual oriented machines, achieving the set line target, being aware of quality, and having knowledge of troubleshooting minor issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieving the set line Target.
• Knowing the automated/ manual machine and machine controls
• Troubleshooting defects and correcting the automated/ manual machine
• Setting and changing over on the machine from one part number to another part number
• Reading drawings and understanding the quality requirements
• Knowledge of end product use and safety requirements of the product
• Should be knowledgeable on triggering the critical spares
• Work with the Manufacturing Engineer on process improvements
• Awareness of Quality targets.
• 5S+1 (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate Degree is preferred or at least High School Graduate
• 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing company as a Production/ Machine Operator
• Knowledgeable to operate machine, knows how to read and understand technical drawings, 5S & Kaizen
