Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking an ASP.NET MVC Software Developer in Manila to design, develop, deploy, and maintain applications supporting travel services and operations.

The role focuses on modernizing legacy systems, migrating apps, debugging, and ensuring API connectivity with SQL Server and other databases. Collaboration across teams, documentation, and adherence to security standards are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in ASP.NET / C# / MVC Framework.
• 2 years' experience in jQuery, AJAX.
• 3 years' experience in SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL (3 years).
• Proficient with Visual Studio 2019/2022.
• Familiar with React.js (2 years) and REST/SOAP APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support legacy systems modernization in an ASP.NET MVC environment.
• Migrate legacy applications to updated platforms with uptime focus.
• Diagnose, resolve software issues, monitor capacity, and API connectivity.
• Create documentation and diagrams; follow standards and security rules.
• Provide Tier 2 support and disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate to define specs, design architecture, and perform testing.
