Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines is seeking a skilled software developer to help define requirements, design applications, and build and test components within our global delivery network.

You will work with ASP.NET Webforms and MVC, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery, develop and consume web services, and participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation. A background in MVC/MVP/MVVM patterns or related certifications is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related field.
• Experience with ASP.NET Webforms or MVC, CSS3/HTML5/JavaScript/jQuery.
• Knowledge of unit testing and/or TDD.
• Experience developing/consuming web services and WCF; familiarity with TFS.
• Experience with MVC, MVP, MVVM patterns.
• Certifications MCP/MCSD/MCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining and reviewing requirements and use cases for the application.
• Design the application to meet the business process design and application requirements.
• Configure, build, and test the application or technical architecture components.
• Participate in transitioning the designs to the developers, code reviews and transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers.
• Fix defects and performance issues discovered during testing.
• Create technical and functional/end-user operational documentation for the software or system.

The Work:

Here’s what you need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant fields
• Experience in ASP.NET Webforms or ASP.NET MVC, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery
• Skills in unit test and/or Test Driven Development.
• Experience in developing/consuming web services/WCF and working with Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Preferably with hands-on experience in implementing MVC, MVP and/or MVVM design patterns.
• Preferably with Microsoft solutions developer certifications such as MCP, MCSD, or MCAD.
