Job summary

Visita Solutions in the Philippines seeks a skilled .NET/ASP.NET Core developer to design, build, and maintain web-based business applications. You will work with C#, SQL Server, and modern front-end tech to deliver robust solutions.

You will translate business requirements into scalable software, apply best practices, and collaborate with users and management to improve functionality and performance. This role offers exposure to full-stack development and modern architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience designing web-based business applications.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET Core / .NET and C#.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, and related front-end tech.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web-based business applications.
• Develop modern applications using ASP.NET Core / .NET and C#.
• Design and develop Microsoft SQL Server databases, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, queries, and optimized database structures.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML5 / CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX and other modern front-end technologies.
• Work with REST APIs / Web APIs and integrate applications with external systems.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into practical software solutions.
• Design application architecture and database structures according to project requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and improve existing applications.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Work closely with users and management to understand business requirements and improve software functionality.
• Participate in software testing, deployment, documentation, and technical support.
• Understand existing ASP.NET MVC / .NET Framework 4.7.2 applications.
• Analyze and understand existing legacy source code and database structures.
• Identify opportunities for modernization and performance improvement.
• Migrate legacy MVC applications to ASP.NET Core / modern .NET.
• Refactor existing code while preserving existing business logic.
• Modernize database access and application architecture.
• Convert or redesign existing APIs and integrations where required.
• Ensure that migrated applications are secure, maintainable, scalable, and compatible with modern technologies.
