The Role

As an Area Manager, you will oversee the operations and performance of multiple stores within a defined geographical region, ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional customer experiences. With a focus on driving sales, optimising operational efficiency, and nurturing a motivated team, you will be instrumental in shaping the growth and success of this leading Retail & Consumer Products company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of store managers and frontline staff, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to drive team engagement and development

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets across the assigned store portfolio

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and service standards

  • Monitor and analyse store-level data to identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the introduction of new products, merchandising initiatives, and marketing campaigns

  • Ensure optimal inventory management and stock control to minimise losses and maximise profitability

  • Foster a positive, customer-centric culture within the area, leading by example and promoting a service-oriented mindset

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a retail management role, preferably within the Fashion Retail industry

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
