As an Area Manager, you will oversee the operations and performance of multiple stores within a defined geographical region, ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional customer experiences. With a focus on driving sales, optimising operational efficiency, and nurturing a motivated team, you will be instrumental in shaping the growth and success of this leading Retail & Consumer Products company.
Manage and lead a team of store managers and frontline staff, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to drive team engagement and development
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets across the assigned store portfolio
Oversee daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and service standards
Monitor and analyse store-level data to identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the introduction of new products, merchandising initiatives, and marketing campaigns
Ensure optimal inventory management and stock control to minimise losses and maximise profitability
Foster a positive, customer-centric culture within the area, leading by example and promoting a service-oriented mindset
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a retail management role, preferably within the Fashion Retail industry
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving operational efficiency and profitability
Demonstrated success in implementing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and achieving operational targets
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use insights to inform strategic decision-making
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
