Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking an SAP BODS Consultant to design, develop, and execute data migration ETL processes for an SAP S/4HANA migration.

The role will leverage SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) to extract, cleanse, transform, enrich, and validate legacy data for migration into the target S/4HANA environment. The consultant will collaborate with Functional, Data Migration, and Business teams to define mapping and validation rules, support mock conversions, SIT, UAT, Dress

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SAP BODS experience.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA data migration.
• Strong SQL, ETL, data profiling and data quality skills.
• Experience handling SAP master data (BP, Customer, Vendor, Material, GL, Cost Center).
• Understanding of migration methodologies, reconciliation techniques, and data validation processes.
• Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit or SAP Data Services Migration Workbench is a plus.

• Prepare migration documentation, technical specifications, and runbooks.

The SAP BODS Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and executing data migration ETL processes supporting an SAP S/4HANA migration. The consultant will leverage SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) to extract, cleanse, transform, enrich, and validate legacy data, ensuring high-quality data is migrated into the target S/4HANA environment.

• Extract data from SAP ECC and non-SAP source systems.
• Perform data cleansing, standardization, mapping, enrichment, and transformation activities.
• Support data harmonization efforts across master and transactional data objects.
• Develop data quality and reconciliation reports to ensure source-to-target data integrity.
• Collaborate with Functional, Data Migration, and Business teams to define mapping and validation rules.
• Support mock conversions, SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsal, and Production Cutover activities.
• Troubleshoot data migration issues and optimize ETL performance.
• Prepare migration documentation, technical specifications, and operational runbooks.

Must have and Good to have skills:

• 3+ years of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) experience.
• Hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA data migration projects.
• Strong SQL, ETL, data profiling, and data quality management skills.
• Experience handling SAP master data (BP, Customer, Vendor, Material, GL, Cost Center, etc.) and transactional data migration.
• Understanding of migration methodologies, reconciliation techniques, and data validation processes.
• Experience working with SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services Migration Workbench, Syniti, SNP, or similar migration tools is an advantage.
