Job summary

SLI Consulting Inc. is seeking a backend developer with at least 2 years of experience in C# (.NET Framework) and .NET Core/.NET 8+. You will design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs, and work on console applications or batch jobs.

You’ll handle data in JSON and XML, work with PostgreSQL or MSSQL, and write efficient SQL queries. Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Strong debugging skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional backend experience with C# (.NET Framework) and .NET Core/.NET 8+.
• Foundational experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Basic exposure to writing console applications or scheduled batch processes.
• Comfortable working with data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Practical experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or MSSQL.
• Ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries.
• Proficient with Git version control (branching, merging, pull requests).
• Basic exposure to Docker containers or familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Eager to learn, receive feedback, and grow technically under mentorship of senior engineers.
• Proactive problem-solver with good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail when debugging and testing code.
