Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics-Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist to analyze business performance and support strategic decision-making across the APAC region.

You will deliver insights to improve profitability, efficiency, and financial transparency while handling data-driven reporting. You will work with cross-functional teams on data analysis, cost tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to high-impact reporting and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Minimum of 3 years in finance, controlling, air freight, or sea freight operations or business analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, CW1 and JIRA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business performance across key areas (profitability, cost, procurement, customer trends, volume, yield).
• Support job costing and performance tracking across APAC countries.
• Conduct monthly closing checks and ensure data accuracy in reports.
• Prepare monthly performance reports for Country and Regional Management.
• Maintain Power BI dashboards for clear insights.
• Track cost deviations using JIRA and MS Teams; escalate as needed.
• Participate in reviews with country stakeholders and contribute to discussions.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data discrepancies.
