Job summary

Bacolod Prosperity Feedmill Corporation (BPFC) is seeking a dedicated Animal Technician to support animal care, farm monitoring, and health programs. The role involves working with customers and the Sales Team, providing technical guidance and ensuring proper husbandry practices.

The position requires field visits and travel as needed, with willingness to learn and collaborate with veterinarians. Full-time employment is offered at the Argao, Cebu Branch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or diploma in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, Agriculture, or related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Willingness to conduct field/farm visits and travel when required.
• Knowledge of animal husbandry, nutrition, and basic health practices is preferred.
• Experience in swine, poultry, or livestock production is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Driver's license and motorcycle are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, growth, and overall condition of livestock.

ANIMAL TECHNICIAN

Bacolod Prosperity Feedmill Corporation (BPFC) is looking for a dedicated and responsible Animal Technician to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY

The Animal Technician will provide technical support and assistance in animal care, farm monitoring, proper animal management, and implementation of recommended feeding and health programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor the health, growth, and overall condition of livestock.
• Conduct regular farm visits and assist customers/farmers with animal management concerns.
• Assist in identifying common signs of illness and coordinate with the veterinarian when necessary.
• Provide guidance on proper feeding, nutrition, sanitation, and animal husbandry practices.
• Monitor feed consumption, animal performance, and farm conditions.
• Assist in vaccination, medication, and other routine animal health activities as directed.
• Prepare farm visit reports and maintain accurate records.
• Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers.
• Work closely with the Sales Team and Veterinarian in addressing customer concerns.
• Perform other duties related to animal care and technical services as assigned.
