Job summary

Belo Medical Group is seeking an Analytics Intern to join our BI and Analytics team. This role offers hands-on experience in data analytics, dashboard development, process digitization, and strategic reporting.

You'll design Power BI dashboards, write SQL queries, assist in data cleansing and modeling, and help document data lineage and reporting templates while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Analytics or related field
• Strong SQL, Power BI, and Excel skills
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis

Analytics Intern

We are seeking a motivated and analytically driven Analytics Intern to join our BI and Analytics team. This role offers hands-on experience in data analytics, dashboard development, process digitization, and strategic reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Data Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders


• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis


• Assist in data cleansing, validation, and data modeling to ensure reporting accuracy


• Support development of data dictionaries, data lineage documentation, and reporting templates


• Analyze data trends and generate actionable insights to support decision-making

Digital Transformation

• Assist in mapping current business processes and identifying opportunities for digitization and automation


• Support implementation and testing of digital tools, platforms, and workflow solutions


• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and document system improvements


• Help prepare project documentation, status updates, and presentations

General & Administrative

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions


• Maintain and update trackers, dashboards, and project logs


• Support ad hoc analytical and transformation tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Background

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations, subqueries)


• Hands-on experience with Power BI (report building, data modeling, basic DAX)


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization)


• Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and relational databases is an advantage


• Exposure to Python or R is a plus

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of DAX & M Language


• Experience with Azure or cloud-based BI tools


• Understanding of data modeling and process mapping
