Job summary

LSERV Corporation in Manila is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure that powers storage, processing, and analytics. You will develop scalable data pipelines and ensure reliable data delivery for users across the enterprise.

You will work onsite in Malate, collaborate with data teams, and apply Apache Kafka, Airflow, and Spark to move and transform data efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, information systems, or related field.
• Expert knowledge in Apache Kafka, Airflow, and Spark for scalable data pipelines.
• Strong programming in Java, Python, and C/C++.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, Hadoop, or Teradata.
• Willing to work onsite in Malate, Manila.

About the role

Designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems required for data storage, processing, and analysis. Builds and manage the data pipelines that enable efficient and reliable data integration, transformation, and delivery for all data users across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines that extract data from various sources, transform them into the desired format, and load it into the appropriate data storage system

• Integrate data from different sources, including databases, data warehouses, APIs, and external systems

• Optimize data pipelines and data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency

• Implement data quality checks and validations within data pipelines to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data

About you

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, information systems, or any related course

• Expert knowledge in Apache technologies such as Kafka, Airflow, and Spark to build scalable and efficient data pipelines
