Job summary

You will perform routine analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, prepare reagents, operate instruments, record results, and ensure proper storage and disposal of chemicals.

Qualifications

• BS Chemistry or BS Chemical Engineering or related science.
• Chemical Technician License is required.
• Experience in analytical laboratory, manufacturing, or quality control preferred.
• Knowledge of basic chemical and physical analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments, reagents, and standard practices.
• Ability to accurately perform calculations, record results, and interpret data.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical.
• Good documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine chemical and physical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Collect, prepare, label, and handle samples to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Conduct laboratory tests according to established methods, procedures, and specifications.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and materials for testing.
• Operate and properly handle laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Record, calculate, evaluate, and report analytical results accurately.
• Identify and report out-of-specification or abnormal test results promptly.

• Maintain accurate laboratory records, test results, and documentation.
