Job summary

Sun Life Financial in the Philippines seeks a detail-oriented professional to support policy development and pricing by preparing policy contracts and policy forms to meet regulatory requirements.

You will help prepare product filing documents for the Insurance Commission and maintain the library of policy forms, contributing to accurate and timely regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• At least one year of work experience in product development or operations-related role within a life insurance company.
• Willing to take LOMA courses.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development and revision of policy provisions, application forms, ancillary forms, and other documents required for product launches.
• Prepares and submits product filing documents to the Insurance Commission (IC), coordinates with the IC on submission status, drafts supporting regulatory documents, and addresses additional requirements raised after the initial submission.
• Maintains, updates, and safeguards the department’s central library of policy forms approved by the Insurance Commission.

Job description The role supports product development and pricing by assisting in the preparation of policy contracts and the development and maintenance of policy forms to meet business and regulatory requirements. The job also facilitates the preparation and submission of documents for regulatory product filings.

Preferred skills

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of documents.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
• Proficient in using computers and standard office applications.
• Knowledge of life insurance products or familiarity with the life insurance company's business operations.
