Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Analyst to design, implement, and continually improve portfolio reporting and analytics solutions. You will build automated reports and executive dashboards, leveraging AI-driven analytics to transform data into actionable insights for executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Project or Program Management or related field.
• 3–5 years in program/project management, business analytics, or business intelligence.
• Experience creating executive-level reporting and dashboards.
• Experience gathering stakeholder requirements and translating them into solutions.
• Experience driving reporting automation and process improvements.
• Experience in data modeling and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Support collection, consolidation, and reporting of portfolio, program, and priority-related information from cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain executive-level portfolio reporting and dashboards.
• Create dashboards and reports using Tableau, Jira Analytics, Atlassian reporting capabilities, and Planview data.
• Gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into analytics solutions.
• Design automated reporting solutions to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
• Leverage AI to automate data collection and preparation of executive reporting materials.

Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Product & Technology portfolio reporting and analytics solutions. This role develops automated reporting capabilities, creates executive dashboards and custom reports, leverages AI-driven analytics, and transforms portfolio and operational data into actionable insights that support executive decision-making. The Analyst partners closely with P&T Portfolio Management resources and key stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, build scalable analytics solutions, and improve the quality, consistency, and efficiency of portfolio reporting.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the collection, consolidation, and reporting of portfolio, program, and priority-related information from cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain executive-level portfolio reporting and dashboards.
• Create custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau, Jira Analytics, Atlassian reporting capabilities, and Planview data.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into analytics solutions.
• Design and implement automated reporting solutions to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
• Leverage AI to automate data collection, summarization, consolidation, and preparation of executive reporting materials.
• Utilize AI to generate insights, trends, risks, and opportunities from quantitative portfolio and delivery data.
• Contribute to the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual executive reporting.

Education

Bachelors degree in Business, Project or Program Management, or related fields, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience

• 3–5 years of progress work-related experience in program / project management, business analytics, or business intelligence.
• Experience creating executive-level reporting and dashboards.
• Experience gathering stakeholder requirements and translating them into solutions.
• Experience in driving reporting automation and process improvements.
• Experience in data modeling and visualization

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Required

• Strong knowledge of Tableau and dashboard development.
• Experience using Jira Analytics or SQL experience and related reporting capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Copilot.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve reporting, automate workflows, and generate business insights.
• Demonstrated clear, concise, and succinct communication skills, including adapting verbal and written communications to the needs and level of the user.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently and perform concurrent tasks requiring technical and functional competence.

Preferred

• Working knowledge of Jira Software.
• Experience with Jira Plans (Advanced Roadmaps).
• Experience using Confluence.
• Experience with Planview reporting and portfolio management capabilities.
