Job summary

Solaire Resort in the Philippines seeks an Analyst, Insurance, Compliance and Audit to support the enterprise risk management program and related reporting. The role collaborates with senior leaders to identify and monitor risks affecting the business and regulatory compliance.

The incumbent will review frameworks, prepare ERM reports, and assist in risk mitigation actions while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to promote a risk-aware culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Commerce is required.
  • Experience in risk management is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in conducting trainings or lectures is a plus.
  • Computer literacy with Word, Excel and PowerPoint is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the ERM program of the company is implemented and accurately reported.
  • Review and update the ERM framework, policies and guidelines to stay relevant.
  • Coordinate with Group Heads and risk owners to identify enterprise risks.
  • Examine risks based on ERM measurements for adequacy of controls and impact.
  • Understand business operations and regulatory requirements to identify risks.
  • Monitor risk mitigation actions and timelines with risk owners.
  • Maintain an updated ERM risk register and prepare required reports.
  • Prepare quarterly ERM reports for High to Critical risks and annual reports.
  • Engage leadership to foster a risk-based culture and collaborative risk management.
  • Keep abreast of risk management best practices and document the process.

FunctionalJobResponsibilities:

  • Responsiblefor ensuring that the ERM Program of the Company is implemented and accuratelyreported.
  • Reviews,evaluates,andrecommends changes to the ERM framework, policies and guidelines, ensuringrelevance to the current business environment of the Company.
  • Facilitatesand works closely with Group Heads, Department Heads, Division Heads and RiskOwners in identifying risks to the Enterprise
  • Methodicallyexamine identifiedrisks based on the measurements of the ERM framework asto adequacy of business controls, likelihood of occurrence andmagnitudeofimpact in coordination with risk owners
  • Understandthe Company’s business operations as well as the regulatory and externalstakeholder requirements (including but not limited to regulators,shareholders) to enable to identify potential risks that may affect theCompany
  • Monitorthe development and compliance of risk mitigating action planssubmitted/committed by risk owners, prompting risk owners on any slippage tocommitted timeline relative to prioriy of the risk
  • Overallresponsibility of maintainin an accurate, updated ERM risk register
  • Review,consolidate and prepare required customized ERM reports
  • QuarterlyReports on High to Critical risks
  • AnnualReport on Low to Moderate risks
  • ERMAnnual Report - Audit Committee
  • Provideresponses on the disclosure information required for the Annual SustainabilityReport
  • Buildand sustain strong relationships with all levels of leadership to elicitcooperative responses to risk management issues and concerns and collaboratewith key stakeholders to have athorough understanding of the Company’srisk profile and help build a risk-based organizational culture in the Company
  • Keepabreast of the latest business developments, risk management techniques andindustry best practices for the continual improvement of the risk managementprocess.
  • Documentand update on a continuing basis the risk management process, policies andprocedures.
  • Providedocuments required by Internal Audit as well as required responses on AuditReview.
  • Handleinquiries related to the Company’s ERM Program.
Requirements
  • Candidatemust possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Commerce
  • Withexperience in risk management but not required
  • Withexperience in conducting training/lecture
  • ComputerLiterate (eg word, excel, powerpoint)
