Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an Analyst, Analytics & Compliance (Global Procurement)

What Are The Job Responsibilities

The Global Procurement Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful procurement analytics. The position supports strategic sourcing, cost optimization, compliance monitoring, and supplier performance evaluation. This role is essential in driving procurement excellence and aligning with gold standards and market-leading practices through automation, spend visibility, and data governance.

  • Procurement Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and performance reports (e.g., Price Bulletin, Price Performance Variance) across raw materials, packaging, and indirect categories.
  • Provide insights across business units, highlighting cost drivers, price fluctuations, and opportunities for savings or leverage.
  • Prepare monthly Global Purchase Summary Reports and Comparative Regional Pricing to aid global benchmarking and alignment.
  • Spend Management & Analysis
  • Own and maintain spend data integrity across systems and categories.
  • Conduct detailed spend analysis to identify sourcing synergies, cost savings opportunities, and supplier consolidation possibilities.
  • Monitor trends, usage patterns, and price movements to support category strategies and risk mitigation.
  • Data Governance & Quality Assurance
  • Validate the completeness, accuracy, and consistency of procurement data including material master data, spend classifications, and supplier records.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance and Finance teams to enforce data standards and support MDM (Master Data Management) practices.
  • Policy & Compliance Monitoring
  • Track adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and contract terms.
  • Support the deployment of global procurement standards and internal controls that ensure compliance and reduce procurement risk exposure.
  • Business Partnering & Cross-functional Support
  • Collaborate with business units, category managers, finance and supply chain teams to define reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Serve as a knowledge partner for data analysis and visualization within the Procurement function.
What are the Qualifications?
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Analyst position with department admin function.
  • Proficient in MS Excel (PivotTables, Lookup functions, Power Query) and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; detail-oriented and organized.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to present complex data in a simple, visual, and compelling manner.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • Highly driven, proactive, and results oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP (MM module), Ariba, or other procurement systems.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik).
  • Familiarity with spend analysis tools, data lakes, or procurement analytics platforms.
  • Exposure to procurement best practices such as Category Management, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and Supplier Performance Management is an advantage.
