Job summary

Axi in the Philippines is seeking an experienced AI-focused software engineer to develop and maintain front-end components for AI products and build secure backend APIs. You will integrate Anthropic, OpenAI, and other models, and automate processes with RPA when suitable.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, scale AI features across markets, and stay current with AI tooling. A degree in CS/SE/AI and 3+ years in the field are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, AI, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in AI, software engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with AI Agents, AI applications, or LLM-based solutions in production.
• Proven experience scaling and enhancing AI products across teams, markets, or the wider organisation.
• Strong technical experience with Python, LLMs, APIs, databases, and AI platforms/tools.
• Able to work with existing code and solutions, identify opportunities for improvement, and scale AI products.
• Experience with AI chatbots, voice agents, or similar AI applications is a plus.
• Knowledge or experience with RPA/automation platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI front-end components using Next.js/React/Vue.
• Implement secure and scalable backend APIs and integrate AI models.
• Automate manual processes with RPA where appropriate.
• Debug production codebase and improve performance, usability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate progress clearly.
• Stay current with AI tooling and experiment with new models and capabilities.
