New Media Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Narrative Lead to create and direct serialized micro-dramas and entertainment content built entirely with AI-generated assets. No live-action filming; all characters, environments and scenes are AI-generated in collaboration with an AI Content Creator / Prompt Engineer and a Video Editor.

You will own the story engine, emotional architecture, and creative direction of each series, designing bingeable short-form episodes optimized for vertical platforms

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience writing and directing narrative content (digital/short-form).
• Strong episodic script writing background.
• Hook psychology and retention dynamics understanding.
• Cliffhanger construction and mobile-first pacing.
• Experience collaborating in AI-assisted creative workflows.
• Strong visual literacy and continuity-safe world design.
• Ability to deliver under tight production timelines.

Responsibilities

• Structure Episodes For Hook within first 13 seconds.
• Escalating tension within 4590 seconds.
• Design multi-episode arcs with clear emotional progression.
• AI-first scene direction and breakdowns.
• Provide creative direction to AI Content Creator / Prompt Engineer for image/video generation.
• Review AI-generated outputs to ensure alignment with story intent.
• Collaborate with Video Editor to optimize pacing and retention.
