Job summary

Fireworks is seeking a senior platform engineer to own the CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code stack, and to build the automation layer that connects model deployment to internal systems. You will spend time in n8n and Python as much as in Terraform and Kubernetes, shaping the API surface, integration design, and high‑throughput data flows while co-owning delivery infrastructure with Platform Engineering.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production systems with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools (n8n, Temporal, Make).
• Strong API fluency: REST/GraphQL, webhooks, auth mechanisms.
• Cloud and container orchestration expertise: Kubernetes, multi-cloud tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the automation layer and CI/CD for model deploys; co-own delivery pipelines with Platform Engineering.
• Design and secure internal/external integrations across REST/GraphQL and webhooks.
• Build custom nodes, webhooks, and functions for off-the-shelf integrations.
