Job summary

UnionBank is seeking an AI Governance Policy Analyst to support the Policy Head in developing and managing policies for the ethical and responsible use of AI and data within the Bank. Office location is UnionBank Plaza, Ortigas, Pasig City.

You will conduct policy research, draft governance guidelines, help implement policies across departments, and train staff on compliance and transparency. This is a full-time role that emphasizes accountability, adaptability, and strong communication.

About The Role

The AI Governance Policy Analyst shall support the Policy Head in the development, implementation, and management of policies related to the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) and data within the Bank.

What You'll Do

• Policy Research: Conduct research on AI and data governance policies, relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to stay informed about the latest developments and best practices
• Policy Development: Assist in the creation and drafting of AI and data governance policies that address ethical considerations, transparency, and accountability
• Policy Implementation: Collaborate with different teams and units to implement AI and data governance policies effectively throughout the Bank. This may involve conducting training sessions and workshops to educate employees about policy guidelines and compliance requirements
• Communication and Documentation: Help to communicate policy guidelines to various stakeholders, including employees, senior management, and external partners. Document policy changes and updates as needed
• Policy Recommendations: Provide input and recommendations to the Policy Head on policy improvements, updates, and new initiatives.
