Caylent is seeking an exceptional Software Architect to join its Cloud Native Applications team. The role focuses on AI-first software, AWS solutions, and guiding customers and teams to deliver production-ready architectures.

You will lead architecture decisions, collaborate with sales, project managers and engineers, and contribute hands-on while mentoring others. This remote role offers global collaboration and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience and AWS cloud-native systems.
• Experience with multiple backend languages (Python, Node.js, C#, TypeScript) and frontend frameworks.
• Ability to lead requirements gathering, architectural decisions, and backlog refinement.

Responsibilities

• Lead software teams to deliver AI-first, production-ready client solutions.
• Own technical requirements, decisions, and backlog refinement.
• Run discovery sessions to translate requirements into actionable backlogs.
• Create architecture diagrams to document and defend designs.
• Hands-on development with AI-first approaches and testing.
• Mentor teammates and provide guidance to engineers.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to manage challenges.
