Job summary

SGTraDex Technologies Pte Ltd is recruiting an AI Engineer to design, implement, and govern AI-assisted development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure. You will craft prompts, evaluate AI outputs, and lead end-to-end AI-enabled software initiatives for enterprise-grade deployments.

The role requires strong full-stack skills, familiarity with modern web frameworks, cloud platforms, and CI/CD, plus a passion for secure, quality software powered by LLMs.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
• Experience with AI tools in code generation, testing, or optimization.

Responsibilities

• Craft effective prompts and workflows to guide AI models in producing accurate, maintainable, and secure code.
• Design, evaluate, and refine AI-generated outputs to meet software and business requirements.
• Architect scalable enterprise-grade applications using AI-assisted development practices.
• Build rapid prototypes and iterate quickly using GenAI tools, then refine toward production quality.
• Integrate AI into existing software delivery pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Perform rigorous code reviews of both human-written and AI-generated code.
• Maintain documentation, prompt libraries, and reuse patterns for internal efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, designers, and engineers.
• Mentor team members in effective prompt engineering practices.
• Champion ethical and responsible AI usage in engineering workflows.

If you have what it takes to pioneer AI-assisted development, we are looking for a AI Engineer for the role in SGTraDex Technologies Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of IMDA.

What the role is:

SGTraDex Technologies Pte Ltd is a company incorporated to design, own and operate a trusted and secured data exchange highway.

As a Prompt Engineer, you will work at the intersection of software development and artificial intelligence, using tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, and other LLM-driven systems to prompt, refine, supervise, and guide AI-generated code. You will design systems end-to-end and oversee implementations from prototype to enterprise-scale deployments.

What we are looking for

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cursor, or similar
• Strong grounding in full-stack development and ability to validate AI-generated code across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Familiarity with modern web frameworks (e.g. React, Next.js, Node.js, Go, Python)
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architecture
• Experience with containerization (Docker), CI/CD, and version control workflows (Git, GitHub Actions)
• Working knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases
• Exposure to secure software development practices and LLM safety

Soft Skills:

• Critical thinking and attention to detail when reviewing AI-generated code
• Strong verbal and written communication to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Growth mindset and comfort with experimentation and rapid iteration
• Ability to translate vague or abstract requirements into concrete prompts and implementations
• Curiosity and adaptability in the rapidly evolving landscape of generative AI

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields
• Prior experience in software engineering with demonstrable use of AI tools in code generation, testing, or optimization
• Experience leading or mentoring in AI-enhanced development teams is a plus
