Job summary

Thomson Reuters seeks a Legal Research Analyst to join a high-impact initiative shaping legal research using AI. You will connect state trial court orders with AI outputs, validate connections, and contribute to scalable content expansion for professionals worldwide.

You’ll collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery, leveraging your legal, analytical, and communication skills in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (J.D. not required).
• Comfort with AI-generated tools and outputs; no specialized legal research tools experience needed.
• Ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and express complex legal material quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives within larger team projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to adapt to evolving tools, priorities, and operational requirements.
• Fixed-term contract through December 2027.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legal information sets, identifying relationships across trial court orders and related content.
• Make qualitative judgments about AI-suggested connections with sound legal judgment.
• Interpret, analyze, organize, and express complex legal material quickly and accurately.
• Document findings and validation outcomes to support content acquisition.
• Work independently on validation tasks while contributing to team goals and deadlines.
• Verify and validate AI-generated state trial court order connections within KeySite History.
• Collaborate with Product Manager and stakeholders to support scope, quality, and progress toward acquisition targets.
