Job summary

Octal Philippines Inc. is seeking two Full-Stack Developers, Data Applications to build backend data pipelines and a self-service layer. You will migrate Alteryx workflows to Python, move pipelines to AWS orchestration, and replace 40+ Alteryx Gallery apps with Python-backed web apps.

We value hands-on AI-assisted development using Claude and related tools, with production-grade code, prompt engineering, and end-to-end ownership of data products in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Python development with pandas, requests, openpyxl.
• Solid Snowflake SQL knowledge (joins, CTEs, window functions).
• Experience designing data pipelines from scratch on AWS.
• REST API experience with OAuth2 and JSON/XML parsing.
• Full-stack Python backend plus HTML/JS frontend.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development and agentic tooling.
• Git proficiency and ownership of production pipelines.
• Ability to reverse-engineer legacy workflows.

Responsibilities

• Migrate 22 Alteryx macros to a Python library with versioning and tests.
• Migrate scheduled data pipelines to Python on AWS orchestration.
• Replicate Snowflake read/write workflows with idempotent writes.
• Build Data Ingestion, Data Update, Data Pull and Data Count Pull task logic.
• Migrate credential management to AWS Secrets Manager/Parameter Store.
• Rebuild connectors for CoreSignal, PredictLeads, Lastbounce, Jira REST API.
• Develop 40+ Alteryx Gallery apps into Python-backed web apps.
• Implement role-based access control and hosting/deployment model.
• Structure Claude Code sessions to drive autonomous components.
