Job summary

Emapta Philippines is recruiting an Adviser - Business & Tax Advisory to join its global accounting and tax advisory team. You will contribute to Australian tax and accounting engagements while collaborating with experienced professionals and enjoying international exposure.

The role offers a hybrid work setup in Pampanga, travel to Australia, and a competitive package including a PHP 97,100 monthly salary and a sign-on bonus. You’ll also access extensive training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of experience in Australian taxation and accounting.
• Working knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting legislation.
• CA qualified or pursuing CA.
• Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proactive mindset with ability to develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Australian financial statements for entities for engagement manager review.
• Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships.
• Prepare BAS and supporting workpapers for engagement manager review.
• Process journals into client accounting software.
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office on client matters.
• Review and organize client information for tax and accounting engagements.
• Assist with research and prepare technical advice and file notes.
• Australia travel and international growth opportunities.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 4 to 5 years of experience in Australian taxation and accounting
• Working knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting legislation and regulatory requirements
• CA qualified, Part CA qualified, or currently pursuing CA qualification
• Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Proactive mindset with the ability to develop innovative solutions in a changing service delivery environment

Your Daily Tasks

• Prepare Australian financial statements for sole traders, companies, trusts, and partnerships for engagement manager review
• Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships for engagement manager review
• Prepare Australian Business Activity Statements (BAS) and supporting workpapers for engagement manager review
• Process journals accurate into client accounting software
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office regarding client matters, including payment arrangements
• Review and organize client information to support tax and accounting engagements
• Assist with research and prepare technical advice and file notes
• Australia travel and international growth opportunities
• Sign-on bonus worth 1 month's salary
