Job summary

QUESS SINGAPORE is seeking an analytical Actuarial Analyst on a 2-year contract to contribute to financial modelling, data analysis and actuarial reporting. You will work with experienced professionals in a structured environment within the insurance sector.

The role emphasizes rigorous data handling, model testing and collaboration with Finance and Risk Management, while supporting pricing, reserving and experience studies as applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree or progress toward professional actuarial qualifications is preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with accuracy.
• Familiarity with Excel and data analysis concepts.
• Ability to work independently and within teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in actuarial calculations, financial modelling and quantitative analysis.
• Support preparation of actuarial reports, projections and management presentations.
• Perform data extraction, validation and analysis for accuracy.
• Assist with pricing, valuation, reserving and experience studies where applicable.
• Support review of actuarial assumptions and business performance.
• Participate in model testing, documentation and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk Management and other functions.
• Undertake additional actuarial analysis and projects as required.
