Job summary

The SM Store (SM Mart Inc.) in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, is seeking an Assistant Manager, Accounting to support the Senior Manager in overseeing branch accounting functions.

You will supervise Accounting Associates and Accounting Assistants, ensure audit procedures are followed, review compliance with policies, and prepare timely regulatory and financial reports for review and approval by your direct superior.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
• At least 2 years supervisory or audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that audit procedures are strictly followed and resolved by Accounting Associates and Accounting Assistants
• Review Accounting Staffs’ compliance with administrative policies and issue notices of violation when needed
• Prepare timely regulatory and financial reports, and forward to direct superior for further review and approval
• Plan, lead, organize and control the work done by Accounting Associates and Accounting Assistants
