Job summary

Davao Fibreboard Packaging Plant Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee accounting operations, including tax compliance and payroll reconciliation.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP. Responsibilities include preparing vouchers, monitoring insurance, VAT, and filing with BIR (1601C, 1601E, 2550M, 2550Q, 1702), plus bank reconciliations and data entry for BIR SLSP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related program, major in Accounting.
• Familiar with BIR rulings and tax compliance procedures.
• Know how to prepare returns to BIR.
• Strong time management to meet filing deadlines monthly.
• Attention to detail to identify errors and discrepancies.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and solve problems.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, ERP).

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations including insurance monitoring, journal vouchers, payroll reconciliation, cash receipts processing, tax compliance, and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare insurance monitoring and journal vouchers for insurance expense (monthly).
• Prepare journal vouchers for payroll (semi-monthly) and tally statutory to HR Personnel for SAP (monthly).
• Reconcile payroll for daily and monthly employees (semi-monthly).
• Post and encode cash receipts book.
• Prepare deferred Input VAT Monitoring.
• Prepare and file 1601C, 1601E and 2550M.
• Prepare and file 2550Q and 1702 Quarterly and Annually.
• Input sales, purchases, and importation to BIR SLSP for data extraction.
• Perform BIR after Tax Compliance and Bank Reconciliation of Dollar CIB to SAP.
• Perform other relevant tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
