A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage supporting accounts for financial statements and ensure tax compliance in Quezon City, Philippines. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and has at least one year of relevant experience, demonstrating strong skills in accounting principles, financial reporting, and software proficiency. This role also involves overseeing purchases and disbursements for suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manages supporting accounts for monthly and annual Financial Statements through proper documentation and entries in accounting system. Ensures tax compliance through timely and accurate submission of tax returns such as VAT, Expanded Withholding Tax, ITR, Payroll alpha list and the like. Provides requirements of Tax Auditors and/or Tax Consultants for on-going tax audit or other tax related work.
• Oversees and/or keeps records of Purchases and Disbursements for Local and Foreign suppliers. Manages documentation and processing of Payables through proper documentation and entries in accounting system.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year work experience in a related field is required, or at least three (3) years\' work experience in a Bookkeeping position for Officer applicants.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant tax regulations and procedures
• Adept in accounting software and MS Office Applications, particularly MS Excel
