Job Description
General Accountants are responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. They handle tasks such as bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements and tax filing and monitoring BIR permit renewals and PCAP and worker payable sheet.
Responsibilities
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining and updating financial records, including general ledgers and accounts payable/receivable.
- Transaction Processing: Recording and posting financial transactions, such as sales, expenses, and payroll.
- Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing tax returns and assisting with tax compliance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Helping with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Financial Analysis: Performing basic financial analysis to identify trends and potential issues.
- Audit Support: Assisting with audit procedures and documentation.
- General Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to the accounting department.
