Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Tax Preparation and Filing:
- Assist clients in preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring adherence to current tax laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance on tax planning and strategies to minimize liabilities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
Experience
- Previous experience in accounting or a related field, preferably within an accounting firm.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
