Job summary

Mitsubishi Motors Finance Philippines Inc. (MMFP) in the MMFP joint venture with Security Bank Corporation seeks an Accounting Manager to lead end-to-end financial management, including finance systems implementation, budgeting, and performance management.

The role ensures that finance processes are robust, well-governed, and aligned with regulatory requirements and the company’s strategic objectives, while supporting senior management through structured analyses and forecasting.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Finance
• Strong background in leasing operations and automation
• Hands-on experience supporting finance system implementations (lease management systems, accounting sub-ledgers, or equivalent)
• Experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance management

Responsibilities

• Serve as Finance Lead for Lease Management System design and alignment with accounting and reporting.
• Support implementation and enhancement of finance-related systems (lease and auto loan sub-ledgers).
• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and multi-year planning.
• Assist monthly/quarterly/annual reviews with structured analyses, variance explanations, and forecasts.
• Integrate budgeting and performance outputs into operating workflows and portfolio reviews.
• Prepare analyses and presentations for Senior Management, Management Committees, and Board

You will be assigned under Mitsubishi Motors Finance Philippines Inc. (MMFP) - a joint venture between Security Bank Corporation, a leading universal bank in the Philippines and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, a global automobile company based in Japan.

The Accounting Manager (Finance Manager) is responsible for end-to-end financial management encompassing finance systems implementation and support, budgeting and planning, and performance management. The role ensures that finance processes, systems, and planning frameworks are robust, well-governed, and aligned with the Company’s operational model, regulatory requirements, and strategic objectives.

How you'll contribute

• Serve as the Finance Lead for the Lease Management System, ensuring alignment of system design with accounting, financial reporting, and operational requirements.
• Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of finance-related system components, including the auto lease system, auto loan system, or equivalent accounting and finance sub-ledgers.
• Support the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial planning activities in alignment with strategic objectives and risk appetite.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews by preparing structured financial analyses, variance explanations, and forward-looking forecasts.
• Integrate budgeting, forecasting, and performance outputs into core operating workflows, including portfolio performance reviews and asset disposal planning.
• Prepare and present financial analyses, planning outputs, system impact assessments, and recommendations to Senior Management, Management Committees, and the Board

What we’re looking for

• With 5-8 years experience in Finance
• Strong background and experience in leasing operations and automation experience
• With hands-on experience supporting finance system implementations (e.g., lease management systems, accounting sub-ledgers, or equivalent platforms).
• Preferably with experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance management.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting flows, funding structures, and portfolio economics.
• Experience supporting senior management and governance bodies (Management Committee, Board).
