This role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement. The position requires strong leadership, hands-on management of month-end close, and collaboration with auditors and IT to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive accounting experience.
• At least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Strong background in taxation and regulatory compliance.
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MS Dynamics).
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Oversee tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and statutory filings.
• Develop tax planning strategies to improve tax efficiency.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies.
• Serve as the accounting lead for ERP systems, including system enhancements and process improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to optimize accounting workflows.
• Strengthen internal controls and recommend process automation initiatives.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team.
