Job summary

PrimeEast Properties, Inc. is seeking a CPA Accounting Head to lead and oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations. The role ensures timely financial reporting, strong budgeting, regulatory compliance, and robust controls.

You will manage daily accounting duties, prepare GAAP/IFRS statements, coordinate audits, and drive improvements across internal processes, cash flow management, and compliance. Collaboration with senior leadership is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, GL, and reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
• Maintain and improve internal controls and compliance
• Coordinate and prepare internal and external audits
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with department heads
• Monitor cash flow and financial transactions to ensure daily needs are met
• Supervise and develop accounting staff
• Ensure timely tax filings and government reporting
• Analyze financial information to identify trends and improvements
• Collaborate with the Chairman and cross-functional teams

Job description

We are seeking a CPA Accounting Head to lead and oversee the company's accounting and financial operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, effective budgeting, regulatory compliance, and sound financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Including but not limited to reviewing and signing of reports and letter to be sent to clients, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g. GAAP, IFRS).
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes to ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and prepare internal and external audits.
• Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in collaboration with department heads.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions to ensure sufficiency of company’s daily needs.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting staff to strengthen the team’s capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with tax filings and other government reporting requirements.
• Analyze financial information to identify trends, variances, and recommend improvements to maximize financial performance.
• Collaborate with company Chairman and other cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives.
• Performs other task that maybe assigned from time to time.
