Job summary

A prominent accounting firm in Metro Manila is looking for an experienced accounting professional to manage accounts payable and financial transactions. The role requires expertise in Quickbooks, handling Petty Cash, and assisting with government payments and tax reporting. Ideal candidates are BS Accountancy graduates with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably CPA certified. Walk-in applicants are welcome from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm at their office located in Pasig City.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related working experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferable.

Job description

Basic Purpose and Scope of the Position Responsibilities:

• Process, maintain and record all accounts payable, check voucher, journal voucher, and transactions in Quickbooks
• Handle replenishment of Petty Cash, employee reimbursements, and liquidation
• Assist in preparation of government payments such as SSS, Philhealth, Pagibig, and BIR Tax reporting
• File all accounting documents and returns
• Ability to understand and apply current accounting guidelines, system updates and revisions, and policy changes
• Maintain and update necessary accounting entries
• Reconcile financial transactions and accounts
• Receive invoices and release checks to and from suppliers/vendors
• Preparation of monthly reports

Qualifications:

• BS Accountancy graduate preferably CPA
• At least 3 years related working experience
