Job summary

BDO Unibank in Mandaluyong is seeking an Accounting Assistant to maintain and monitor Real and Other Properties Acquired (ROPA) records in ICBS, and to prepare the related reports. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely data entry, and compliance with internal controls.

You will handle daily ROPA bookings, generate balance sheets and GL schedules, and support reporting requirements for internal and external stakeholders, with guidance from the Comptrollership Group.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Management and Accounting; experience not required
• Must possess good communications skills, computer literate and can work with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of ICBS Loan subsystem for the booking and sale of ROPA
• Prepares entries for the booking and sale of ROPA
• Prepares balance workstation and GL batchsheet
• Responsible for the booking and reversal of ML and AR
• Responsible for the recording and updating of expenses related to ROPA
• Properly and regularly files and safekeeps reports and documents assigned to him/her
• Attends to queries from various Units
• Prepares and ensure accuracy of internal and external reports
• Prepares the Statement of Account for Pricing, Redemption, Buy back and for Third party buyer
• Prepares History and Application of Payments
• Prepares the Certificate of Full Payment and Collateral Release Advise
• Prepares FVOCI - Mark to Market Schedules
• Prepares BAP report on Foreclosed Accounts

Key Responsibilities

A. Daily Transactions
