• Proficiency in recording and reconciling Journal Entries and maintaining general ledgers.

Role Description

The Accounting Analyst and Senior Bookkeeper (AU Client) is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring proper posting of journal entries in compliance with Australian accounting standards and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include managing general ledgers, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, and assisting in the preparation of management and compliance reports. The role also involves analyzing financial data, identifying discrepancies, collaborating with team members and clients to resolve issues, and supporting taxation and audit-related requests for Australian clients.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to apply principles to Australian client engagements.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Proficiency in recording and reconciling Journal Entries (Accounting) and maintaining accurate general ledger accounts.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying variances, and recommending improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage.
• Experience working with accounting software, Xero and MYOB exposure to Australian accounting and tax regulations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and international clients.
