Job summary

Kawabata Technology Inc. is seeking an accounting professional to manage its overall accounting operations in Laguna. The role requires maintaining accurate books, handling payables/receivables, and preparing monthly financial statements.

The candidate should have BS Accountancy with 1–2 years of experience, strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Independence and teamwork are both valued in this position.

Qualifications

• Graduation in BS Accountancy or related course.
• 1–2 years accounting experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, organized, trustworthy and responsible.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s overall accounting operations.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, assist in bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and review accounting entries and supporting documents.
• Monitor BIR compliance and coordinate with external accountant/auditor when necessary.
• Prepare documents for tax filing and other government requirements related to accounting.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Provide financial information and reports to management.
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
