GY Logistics Corp. is seeking an on-site Accounting Staff in Cordova, Cebu, to join our finance team. The role is aimed at fresh graduates or students pursuing an accounting career and requires a Bachelor’s degree with solid Excel skills.

Daily duties include recording transactions and maintaining ledgers, with responsibilities spanning AP/AR and financial reporting. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong detail orientation, analytical thinking, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in general accounting.
• Hard skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Soft skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and good communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Record daily transactions, post journals, and maintain the general ledger.
• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process bills, issue invoices, and verify supporting documents (AP/AR).
• Assist in preparing financial statements, expense reports, and budget data.

Job Description

Accounting staff member manages daily financial transactions, maintains general ledgers, and ensures the accuracy of an organization's financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Record Maintenance: Post daily transactions, update journals, and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process bills, issue invoices, and verify supporting documents.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, expense reports, and budget data.
• Auditing & Compliance: Prepare schedules and documentation for internal or external audits.
