Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

• 10th Pass + 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Fire. (OR)
• 12th Pass (Regular Study)

Driving License:

• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License; OR
• Valid Medium Vehicle License issued at least one year before the date of advertisement i.e.01/11/2024. OR
• Valid Light Motor Vehicle License (LMV) issued at least two years before the date of advertisement i.e. 01/11/2024.

Note:Only candidates who are domiciled in West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Sikkim States can apply for the above posts

Age Limit (As on 01 November 2024):18 to 30 years

Age Relaxation:

• 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
• 5 years for SC/ST

• Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for candidates who are in regular service of AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA (Additional relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates).

• Maximum age limit for Widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried, up to the age of 35 years (up to 40 years for member of SC/ST and 38 years for OBC)

Selection Process of AAI Careers:

• The selection process will be based on Two Stages

Stage 1:

• Written Exam (Computer-Based Test [CBT]
• Duration: Two (2) hours Minimum pass marks will be 50 out of 100 for UR/EWS/OBC candidates and 40 out of 100 for SC/ST candidates.

Stage 2:

• On passing the online Computer Test (CBT), shortlisted candidates shall be subject to certificates/Document verification followed by a Medical Examination (Physical Measurement Test).
• Those cleared in the medical examination shall be allowed for a driving test (in Light Motor Vehicle) subject to possessing a Valid Light Motor Vehicle/Medium Motor Vehicle/Heavy Motor Vehicle license in original.
• Only on passing the driving test, the candidate will be allowed for Physical Endurance Tests (PET).
• Minimum qualifying marks for the Physical Endurance Test for both male and female candidates shall be 60 out of 100
• Ex‑Agniveers will be given exemption only from Pthe hysical Endurance Test.
• However, they must be suitable from all other relevant perspectives including but not limited to age, educational qualification, written test, medical tests/examination, physical measurement standards (height, weight, medical standards etc.), driving requirements, 16 weeks of basic training, at par with other candidates, as applicable to the post.
