  • Manage GTM containers, event triggers, and data layers.
  • QA and validate event firing across landing pages and checkouts.
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies between analytics and ad platforms.
  • Automate alerts to detect when key tracking events break or stop firing.

Experimentation & CRO

  • Implement and QA A/B tests across PHP, HTML, or JS landing pages.
  • Validate experiment setup, conversion tracking, and split logic.
  • Partner with CRO analysts to ensure clean data and fast experiment rollouts.

Shopify & Integration Work

  • Update product and catalogue IDs, manage metafields, and configure apps.
  • Execute basic Liquid or script edits to maintain tracking accuracy.
  • Integrate Shopify data flows with analytics and tracking systems.

Monitoring & Reliability

  • Build uptime and pixel health monitoring using scripts or tools (UptimeRobot, Pingdom, etc.).
  • Set up real-time notifications for errors or downtime affecting conversions.
  • Support performance optimisation through caching or CDN configurations.
Requirements:
  • 2–4 years of technical experience in tracking, marketing tech, CRO, or similar roles.
  • Hands‑on experience with GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Blotout.
  • Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Shopify for app setup, data accuracy, and basic integrations.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing platforms (Google Optimise, VWO, or custom setups).
  • Git/GitHub experience preferred.
  • Highly detail‑oriented with a strong QA mindset and proactive communication skills.
KPIs:
  • Pixel accuracy rate (% of verified events firing).
  • Time‑to‑deploy or resolve tracking issues.
  • A/B test deployment speed and QA success rate.
