Job summary

Kooapps in Makati is looking for a skilled 3D artist to produce high-quality assets including modeling, texturing, rigging and animation. You will work with the art team to ensure asset quality across all project aspects and coordinate with programmers to ensure the 3D design functions across varying specifications.

A bachelor’s degree in computer animation or related field is required, along with a strong portfolio. Willingness to work on-site Monday to Saturday is needed.

Qualifications

• Online portfolio showcasing 3D character and animation work.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer animation, 3D/graphic design, or related field.
• Understanding of modeling, texturing and asset optimization.
• Experience with animation and post-production is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality 3D assets, and execute tasks such as modeling, designing textures, Setup rigging and Animation.
• Work with the art team to ensure the quality of the assets for all aspects of the project.
• Corresponds and communicate with Programmers to ensure that the 3D design and overall look functions successfully for varying technical and performance specifications.

Requirements

• An online portfolio is required to showcase 3D Character and animation works before being considered for an interview. Include images and a Demo reel if possible. Please indicate the link on your resume.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer animation, 3D/graphic design, fine arts or a related field
• Complete understanding of modeling, texturing and optimization of assets
• Experience in Animation and Post-production is an advantage
• Strong working knowledge of industry-standard software, including Maya, Substance Painter, Zbrush, Photoshop or equivalent
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to work on-site in Makati.
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday
