Job summary

Healthway Medical Network is seeking a 2D Echo Technician to perform safe and accurate 2D echocardiography procedures and to assist patients throughout the examination.

The role includes maintaining records, coordinating with physicians on findings, and ensuring proper processing and documentation of imaging results while supporting the imaging department operations.

Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for performing safe, accurate, and efficient 2D echocardiography procedures while ensuring quality patient care and compliance with established clinical, safety, and infection control standards.

2. The role involves:

   • preparing and assisting patients throughout the procedure,

   • maintaining complete and accurate examination records,

   • coordinating with attending physicians and cardiologists regarding significant findings,

   • and ensuring the proper processing and documentation of imaging results.

3. The 2D Echo Technician also supports the efficient operation of the imaging department by maintaining supplies, observing regulatory requirements, participating in staff activities, and performing other related duties as assigned.
